Description

One of the oldest XTERRA events in the World is XTERRA CZECH REPUBLIC. In 2024 small town of Prachatice will host the top athletes of XTERRA WORD CUP and hundreds of enthusiastic amateur competitors! One of the biggest races in Europe is famous because of combination of race course in the wild nature and race center in the middle of renaissance old town.

Races

XTERRA CZECH ORIGINAL 

1.5K swim - 33K mountain bike - 10.5K trail run
This is the main race of the weekend. The status of the race is XTERRAWorld Cup race, EMEA tour race and XTERRA Czech Championship. You don´t need any license or qualification, everyone can stand at the startline next to the world champions! This race course is well known for its vertisality. Challenging singletracks are well combined with fast fire roads. There is a unique part of the course in the middle of Prachatice rennaissaince historical city center. PRO prize purse: 10 000 USD.

XTERRA SHORTTRACK
2x0.2K swim - 5x1.8K mountain bike - 3 x 1.1K trail run
New XTERRA race concept called SHORTTRACK will have the world premier in Prachatice this year. This race will take place on Sunday at Ktissky Lake. Only TOP 25 men and TOP 20 women from the Saturday´s main race will qualify for this race. Competitors will race on very short laps around lake with many technical sections and obstacles. This race format will be very interesting for XTERRA Pros and also for spectators. PRO prize purse: 5000 USD.

XTERRA SPRINT-HOBBY (X-TICER) 

0.3K swim - 22K mountain bike - 5K trail run
The best chance to try XTERRA! Each part of the race was shortened to make an ideal race for XTERRA beginners. Despite of easy and short course, you can still enjoy signature spots of the Championship race course including transition and finish in the historical Prachatice downtown.

XTERRA RELAYS (TEAMS) 

1.5K swim - 33K mountain bike - 10.5K trail run
Chance to try the XTERRA vibe with your friends! Each of you will pick one part of triathlon (swim, bike, run). Share the challenge with your friends and race on the same course as professionals!

Herbi was the most enthusiastic crew member. Whenever he could, he came and helped us with everything. He was very, very strong. He was able to hold 3 water barrels in one hand, he never needed to rest, he was always ready to work, he never complained about anything. The real hero – Herbi. The start fee will be given to Czech Army fund for veteran families.
